Biosimulant tester guide

Use Biosimulant during your regular work and tell us how it goes.

Thanks for helping us test Biosimulant. Bring a question or a small piece of your normal work and use your usual agent. We’d like to know whether Biosimulant helps you follow what happened, find your results, and pick up where you left off.

Getting started

  • Website. Open Biosimulant Studio and follow the setup for your preferred agent.
  • VS Code. Install the Biosimulant extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace, then sign in and start or open a session.

Optional things to explore

Pick whatever fits your work. If it helps, keep track of each item as Not tried, Tried, Blocked, or Skip.

  1. Start a session with a question, context, or input files.
  2. Ask your agent to analyse data, adapt a model, or run a calculation.
  3. Review a proposed plan, change, or run, including any spending limits.
  4. Use the Timeline to see what changed and why.
  5. Inspect results, charts, logs, and files. Download what you need.
  6. Add a note or inspect the sources saved with the work.
  7. Change an input or setting, rerun, and compare the results.
  8. Return later and continue with the same agent or a different one.
  9. Browse the Hub or Apps for a tool or Lab. A Lab is a reusable setup.
  10. Share a Lab or move between VS Code and the website.

Share feedback on Slack

Join the Biosimulant community on Slack to share your feedback. Already a member? Open the Slack workspace. If the invite has expired or you need help joining, contact the Biosimulant team with the email address you’d like to use for Slack.

  • What you tried. What were you doing, and were you using the website or VS Code?
  • What happened. What worked, and where did you get stuck?
  • Your take. Did it help? What would make it more useful?

A few lines, a screenshot, a session link, or a voice note are welcome. If you get blocked, let us know so we can help. We also want to hear when something didn’t help.

Thank you for your time.
Demi & Wale
